Getting There: Mulan Rose Garden is located in Wuhan Huangpi District, about 42 km from Wuhan city center and 16 km from Huangpi qiancheng. Best reached by car or taxi via Didi (China's Uber).

Arrival: A Warm Welcome
We parked our car and hadn't even entered the scenic area when, in the distance, we spotted vibrant roses standing like hospitable hosts in full bloom, awaiting our arrival.
A sweet, fragrant scent drifted toward us—the roses had put on their finest 'perfume' to welcome us properly.
The Rose Carpet: Swan Lake's Royal Display
Walking along the lakeside through the flower corridor, we followed the fragrance to discover a magnificent rose 'carpet' spread across Swan Lake—perhaps prepared for the swans to dance upon.
The roses in this carpet were breathtaking—red roses burning with passion, pink roses shyly blushing, yellow roses dignified and noble, white roses pure and innocent, and multi-colored roses dazzlingly brilliant. Our fellow female traveler couldn't help but dance among them.
The Crown Jewel: Damask Roses from Bulgaria
Beyond the 1,000 mu of ornamental roses in various colors and varieties, the garden also cultivates 2,000 mu of Damask roses from Bulgaria—the 'Rose Kingdom'—renowned as the 'crown' of roses.
The Damask Rose is a rare and precious variety among roses. Touching its petals gently, they feel as smooth as silk. Primarily in shades of pink and white, these roses feature not only beautiful forms and brilliant colors but also a pure, captivating fragrance. They are the treasure among 'fragrance roses,' and the essential oil extracted from Damask roses is the finest of all rose oils.
