Shanghai Song City (上海宋城) is located at No.1750, Shibo Avenue, Pudong New Area, Shanghai. Take Metro Line 13 to Shibo Avenue Station or Line 8 to China Art Museum Station—both are about a 5-minute walk from the park entrance. If you're driving, there's parking available at the venue.
What Makes It Special
Unlike other Song City locations in China, Shanghai's version features a modern,梦幻 (dreamlike) architectural style with时尚 (trendy) elements. It's half-indoor, half-outdoor, meaning you can enjoy air conditioning whenever needed while still having outdoor fun. Perfect for families with kids who might not handle extreme heat well.
The park is compact enough to experience almost everything in one afternoon if you arrive early. Pro tip: Grab the show schedule at entrance—performances happen throughout the day and you can plan your route to catch them all without missing a thing.

Magical Bubble Show
The bubble show is a hit with toddlers! Various fancy bubble techniques—honestly the most comprehensive show I've seen. Plenty of interactive opportunities where kids can participate.
Evening at Song City is absolutely stunning—the entrance and the Magic Street are both must-see when night falls.
Magic Show
The magic performance is fantastic—kids can even participate on stage!
Ventriloquist Show
The ventriloquist act is entertaining and highly interactive. Our little one watched completely engrossed and asked tons of interesting questions afterward!
Don't forget to take commemorative photos! There are plenty of photo spots throughout the park.
Outdoor Bird Show
The outdoor Forest Sacred Bird performance features talented birds with impressive skills!
Watch birds give kisses to the performers!
Water Play Area
Water play is a special feature at Song City—definitely a summer favorite for kids. Warning: Your kids will get soaked! Bring spare clothes.
Mystery Adventure

The亲子 (family) show 'WA! 恐龙' (WA! Dinosaur) starts with 'dinosaurs' interacting with the audience from the very beginning.
The stage is dazzling, making you feel like you're in a future technology laboratory.
You'll travel back to the dinosaur era—it's incredibly realistic!
The visuals are so vivid, kids watch with complete focus!
Pterodactyls appear on screen—the show keeps building to climax, and it's actually a bit thrilling!
Finally, the finale with fireworks, lighting, and dinosaurs doing a swan dance is pure joy!
Dinosaur Cookie Workshop
During show breaks, we signed up for a baking session to make dinosaur cookies together!
Relaxation Zone
When tired, head to the 2nd floor reading corner and game area for a break. Grab a drink!
Evening Fun
Punk Flash Mob: When night falls, older kids definitely need to join. The atmosphere is酷 (cool) and exciting!
Finally, experience the Color Electro Water Splashing Festival!
Shanghai is beautiful at night. Walking out of Song City, we ended our family day trip with full hearts and happy memories—even though we were a bit tired!
