After breakfast, we explored the hotel grounds. With a total area of 88,000 square meters and five artificial lakes, the resort feels like a European palace set in a vast park. The architecture is grand and imposing, surrounded by manicured lawns perfect for golf.

Watching colorful butterflies take flight while my daughter chased them, calling out "butterfly" in English she'd just learned, was pure magic. For lunch, we tried the hotel's Chinese restaurant, Dasanyuan (大三元), part of Evergrande's signature dining brand with a century of heritage. The restaurant specializes in refined Cantonese cuisine with a health-conscious twist. The name plaque was even inscribed by Pu Jie, the younger brother of China's last emperor—a nice historical touch.
Chef Chen Yonglian from Guangzhou was on a visiting tour, treating guests to authentic Cantonese dim sum: flaky egg tarts, pineapple buns, congee with pork and thousand-year eggs, and crystal shrimp dumplings. Combined with excellent Sichuan dishes, it was a feast for both eyes and palate.
Day 3: Relaxation & Departure
SPA & Wellness: Parents Deserve Fun Too
While Xiaoxin was occupied with the kids' facilities, I sneaked away to the SPA center. The facilities are luxurious, with separate male and female hot spring baths and private treatment rooms. After three days of chasing butterflies and swimming, a proper massage was exactly what I needed.
